Trauma and Neurological
Therapy Program
We
treat neurological and musculoskeletal disorders
such as brain and spinal cord injuries,
degenerative diseases, fractures, joint
replacements, amputations and multiple trauma.
Treatment is often complicated by
medical instability following an extended
illness or surgery, and these patients are
typically too unstable to qualify for admission
to inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Our goal is
to assist them to their highest level of
functioning, to resolve existing medical
problems, and to prevent future complications.
One of our speech therapists is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist through the Brain Injury Association of America and is the only Speech and Language Pathologist (at this time) in the state with this designation.
