St Elias Specialty Hospital, an extended stay hospital, was designed and built to meet the specific needs of long term patients.  Our state-of-the-art hospital provides the ideal environment for recovery from serious medical conditions requiring extended hospital stays.

St. Elias Specialty Hospital is the result of a partnership between Providence Alaska Medical Center and BridgeCare Hospitals.  These organizations have exchanged ideas, shared talent and healthcare experience, and joined forces to bring Alaska its first extended stay hospital.
